Ford Explorer Passes the 100,000 Sales Mark

The Explorer has become the fastest growing midsize crossover in the U.S. After a complete redesign, compared to 2010, U.S. sales are up 290 percent. The Explorer has passed the 100,000 vehicle sales mark. Ford has been on a roll lately with their recently re-designed vehicles.

Amy Marentic, who is a Group Marketing Manager at Ford stated "with best-in-class fuel economy and technology like MyFord Touch®, terrain management and the world's first second-row inflatable seat belts, Ford had shown that our dedication to customers' needs is paying off,".

The new  EcoBoost engine has an EPA rating of  28 mpg on the highway. Ford's all new Escape will be unveiled at the upcoming Los Angeles Auto Show. It will be offered with a 1.6 liter and 2.0 liter EcoBoost engine.

This is great news for Ford and I hope they continue with their success.
