Maserati Levante Details

The Maserati Levante will arrive in showrooms in 2015. The Levante will take design cues from the Kubang concept that was revealed at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show. The new SUV will ride on the same platform as the Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango.

Buyers will be able to choose from the same engines found in the new Ghibli and Quattroporte: 3.0L V6 producing 410 hp, a 3.8L V8 producing 530 hp, and a 3.0L V6 turbodiesel engine producing 275 hp. Each of these engines will be mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Power from the engines will be sent to all four wheels using Maserati's all-wheel drive system.

I really liked the design of the Kubang concept and hope that the Levante keeps that aggressive look.

Heisman Winners Join Nissan and Habitat For Humanity to Build Homes in New Orleans

Nissan and Heisman Trophy Winners have collaborated with Habitat for Humanity to build houses for victims of hurricane Katrina.

New Orleans neighborhoods are still impacted by the destruction of Katrina. Heisman Trophy alums Danny, Wuerfell (QB, Florida, 1996), Eric Crouch (QB, Nebraska, 2001), Johnny Rodgers (RB, Nebraska, 1972), Mike Rozier (RB, Nebraska, 1983), George Roger (RB, South Carolina, 1980), and John Lattner (HB, Notre Dame, 1953) lent their time to the project. Danny Wuerffel painted his signature onto the home's new mailbox, while the other alums donated self-portraits and hidden autographs in addition to elbow grease. Check out the build progress at http://www.nissanusa.com/habitat-for-humanity.
