Interview: 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray w/ Michelle Krebs, Senior Analyst, and James Bell, Chevrolet Head of Consumer Affairs

The Corvette is the world's longest-running continuously produced sports car and the best-selling sports car in America and "Stingray" is one of the hallowed names in automotive history. The all-new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray will produce 455 hp and will deliver more than 29 mpg on the highway. The 2014 Corvette Stingray will be the most fuel efficient sports car on the market.

About the talent: Senior Analyst Michelle Krebs has covered the automotive industry for 30 years, having written for publications ranging from The New York Times to Motor Trend. Before starting her own business in 1990, she was a staff writer for trade journal Automotive News, covering the financial beat and General Motors Corp. She has been an adjunct professor of business at Detroit College for Creative Studies. Krebs, who is an award-winning writer, has served as a president of the Automotive Press Association in Detroit, as a juror on the North American Car and Truck of the year as a juror on the Car of of the Century. She is a graduate of Syracuse University with an English degree and a degree in magazine Journalism from the Newhouse School.

With over 16 years of experience, James Bell is a nationally recognized and authoritative resource within the automotive industry. During his tenure, James has diligently analyzed and effectively communicated automotive data and research to multiple constituencies, including the national and international media, automotive manufacturers, dealers, and the every-day shopper. His multifaceted experience has led to a unique perspective on the industry that easily crosses over the boundaries between the general consumer and passionate enthusiast. Prior to joining GM, James was Vice President of Corporate Communications and Executive Market Analyst for Kelley Blue Book. In this role, he was charged with promoting the brand and driving traffic to its award-winning Web site. Bell holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Communications and Political Science from California State University.
