Interview: How To Prevent Your Car From Being Stolen w/ George Baker, Global Emergency Services Outreach Manager, OnStar

Are you concerned about the safety of your vehicle? Having your car stolen is obviously something nobody wants to experience. I had the opportunity to interview George Baker, Global Emergency Services Outreach Manager, OnStar. George Baker shares his top tips for keeping your car and your belongings safe. George also talks about OnStar's SVS service which was launched in 2008.

George Baker is responsible for developing and maintaining the company's strategic relationships with the Public Safety community in the United States, Canada and abroad. Baker joined OnStar in 2004, where he has served in key public policy and marketing roles. Prior to joining OnStar, Baker held a number of positions at General Motors. He served as locomotive program manager in Mexico and Russia. He then led GM's automotive activity in Russia, overseeing a growing dealer network spread over eleven time zones. In early 2000, he became director of GM Military and federal agencies in the United States and overseas. Before beginning his corporate career, Baker served in the U.S. Army as an armor officer and Russian Foreign Area Officer. He is a graduate of West Point and Harvard University.

Has anyone had any experience with having their vehicle stolen?

I want to thank General Motors for this interview opportunity! I also want to thank George Baker for taking out the time to discuss and answer my questions.
